Boston Dynamics’ Stretch robot is being deployed at Otto Group in Europe to handle cases in the warehouse. “Stretch really supports us in a very labor-intensive process in the warehouse,” said Tomek Pauer, a project manager in the Supply Chain Management arm of Otto Group. Boston Dynamics’ Spot quadruped robot is also being used at Otto Group for predictive maintenance efforts, collecting thermal images, reading analog gauges, and detecting ultrasonic air and gas leaks.
