Loft Orbital and Marlan Space Join Forces to Create First Satellite Production Company in the Middle East
Loft Orbital and Marlan Space have formed a joint venture, Orbitworks, to create the Middle Eastโs first private space infrastructure company. With an initial investment of over $100 million, Orbitworks will produce up to fifty 500 kg satellites annually, aiming to launch its first satellite as early as Q1 2026. The company will leverage advanced hardware, software, and industrial technologies to integrate and test satellites, and partner with local component manufacturers and technology providers in the UAE.
