Idemitsu Kosan Deploys Cognite Data Fusion®︎ to Four Manufacturing Sites

Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. and Cognite announced that they have completed the implementation of Cognite Data Fusion®︎, the leading Data and AI platform, at four manufacturing sites (Hokkaido Refinery, Chiba Complex, Aichi Complex, and Tokuyama Complex) that manufacture petroleum refining and chemical products. Idemitsu Kosan will use Cognite Data Fusion®︎ to centrally manage data and domain knowledge accumulated at each refinery and complex on equipment operation and maintenance operations, thereby reducing the time required for information collection and analysis and enhancing the sophistication of decision-making, including forecasting and situational awareness(a mechanism to notice).
